RESEARCH INTERESTS
My interests lie in the field of economic systems of past societies. Currently I am approaching this issue with an aid of agent-based modeling and social network analysis applied to the problem of urbanization: how cities emerged but more notably how their emergence changed economy and social systems. Case-studies include the classical Greek settlement of Thasos island as well as Medieval cities of south-western France.
